2nd 9weeks reading list.

Adolf hitler biography: i ike books about adolf hitler and the way he thought about and did things. i read meign kamf and enjoyed it so i am choosing to read his biography.

brian's winter: i like survival books by gary paulson and alot of his other works such as hatchet. i enjoyed reading it and had some of the same questions as other readers if brian had been stuck in the forest for the winter and never had to be rescued so i'm going to read this book.

tree castle island: i enjoy jean craighead george's works and i had a refrence to read this book by many teachers and other readers of his works. i heard it was a good book and can't wait to get to read it.

Ka-ching

The video Ka-ching is retarted and makes it seem like america has absolutly no values any more and that all we care about is money.
In my opinion money isn't the most important thing in life even though money does help out sometimes.
We (as a nation) have borrowed billions of dollars from other countries such as china leaving us broke and in debt but somehow through all the debt, homelessness and poverty that plauges our nation people like paris hilton and othe rich celebrities get millions and millions of dollars every year to waste when they could be helping the common people of america that can't help themselves.
Money is said to be the root of all evil and is in my eyes. money is the whole subject of the Ka-ching video and in that matter I don't like it one bit and no one else should either.

semester test

I'm going to pick Grease as my favorite play. The reason i picked this play is because i've seen it many times in my life and i like it every time i watch it. the plot of the story is about 2 people a girl and a guy that fall in love during the school year. i like the movie because of the storyline. i don't not like anything about the movie.
The plot is where this guy goes back to school for his senior year and falls in love with some girl and races his car and wins and thats pretty much it.
it's better than alot of plays i've seen and it is not as boring as most of them that i have watched.
i like the story line and i like the way it carries over from movie to movie unlike other ones.
thats all i can say about that i guess.

Fiddler on the Roof

  • this is pretty cool but they say tradition way too much. i kinda like the movie. the songs are kinda like the songs a little but there a little weird too. there are alot of songs in this movie that i've heard before. he was going the give his daughter to the butcher but instead he gives her away to the tailor. the other people attack the wedding for no reason at all in my opinion. they are taring apart the town for no reason. the dude who married the farmers second daughter is in trouble in russia. thr are talking to the rabi about bad news. the third daughter of the farmer wants to get married now. the daughter got married without permission and she married a man outside the religion. the people of the town are getting ran out of town.

banning ipods

i think teachers are overdramatic on the subject of ipods and other media devices. personally i use my phone for music which most my teachers don't like but there are a few teachers who don't care for ipods, those are the cool teachers. this is an important subject because some students use the music to zone out teachers, but some students, like me, use the music to concentrate on stuff like tests and homework we do in class. the main thing is that our school still allows ipods and other devices, hopefully we'll keep it this way and maybe other schools will lift there bans.

Earthquake in chile: The earthquake in chile destroyed many establishments and killed up to 700 people or even more and the death toll is rising. People in chile are asking for food, water purification systems, generaters, and satallite phones for communication. in present days secretary of state- hillary clinton said on her trip to uraguay she would go to chile and bring communication devices. after the earthquake hit chile a tsunami hit the country.

Global warming: With all the snow throughout america and the scientists protesting that global warming is still a threat its really hard to believe. many scientists and former vice president al gore at the helm they're still trying to convince many americans. many of us are believing them and many of us still think most of it is trash; an idea that didn't hold up and should be forgotten.

europeon storm: In paris firefighters are surching the ruins of many buildings and so far have said they have found 62 dead and french officials are wanting to fix there aging sea walls for future storms.

simularities: many people were announced deceased in each tragedy, many goverment officials are making plans to help the survivers, and many other nations are helping the nations in the disaster situations.

Main idea: All nations in disaster in the world need help nomatter how hostile the nation is. It is important because it means we may build bonds with that country for future refrences and that means the people in america are that much more safe.
